How do I open Email attachments?
To open email attachments you will need to do the following:Click on 'Tools' then 'Options' then 'Security' tab. When this page comes up remove the tick out of the checkbox 'Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus'.
Also make sure that the dot is in the circle 'Internet zone'
Leave the tick in the checkbox 'Warn me when other applications try to send mail as me'
Click 'Apply' then 'OK'
Close Outlook Express then open it again - all the attachments should be enabled as normal.
+++++ IMPORTANT NOTE +++++
Implementing the following remedy will disable the inbuilt security features within Outlook Express - and viruses disguised as harmless attachments can be opened which may infect your computer.
